MR. AMRENDRA KUMAR SINGH

Shri A.K. Singh completed his graduation in B.Com Hons. from the prestigious Kirori Mal College, Delhi University and subsequently, pursued M.Com from Annamalai University. Thereafter, did his L.L.B from the prestigious Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. After that, he completed his L.L.M from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University. He has also qualified double NET and is a JRF holder as well. He was born on 19th August, 1984 at New Delhi.

Proceeding further, he was enrolled in the Bar Counsel of Delhi (BCD) in the year 2011 and had practiced before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as well as before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi along with different District Courts and Forums in Delhi and NCR. He has also represented his client in cases emanating from other states and imparted legal advice at various platforms. He was also engaged as the guest and the Visiting faculty in some reputed institutions wherein, he used to deliver lectures on different disciplines of law.

He joined the Tripura Higher Judicial Service as Grade-I Officer on 02.02.2021. Thereafter, he was posted as the Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ) wherein, he has held the charge of Special Judge (POCSO) at Agartala. From there, he was transferred to the Unakoti Judicial District wherein, he worked as the Additional District and Sessions Judge(ADJ) and also as the Special Judge(POCSO) & (Offences against women) and as a MAC Tribunal. He also holds the charge of the Chairman of the SDLSA, Kumarghat.

Apart from the above, during the aforesaid period of service, the Hon’ble High Court of Tripura was pleased to nominate him to attend the following training programs in order to enrich his skill and craft:

(A) Two day’s seminar on ‘POCSO’ held at S.V.P, MPA, Hydrabad in the month of May, 2022.
(B) Two day’s program on ‘National Annual Stakeholders Consultation on Child Protection’ held at the extension building of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the month of December, 2022.
(C) Three day’s seminar on ‘POCSO & CSAM’ held at S.V.P, MPA, Hydrabad in the month of November, 2023.
